Ishwar Sawh

Ishwar Sawh graduated from Miles Macdonnell Collegiate in 2017, with honours in Music. He graduated with an all around familiarity with different Musical instruments, but his favourite are the guitar and tuba. He played tenor saxophone in the High Scchool Jazz Band. This gift and facility to play the guitar or sitar, has allowed him to play with the WSO on several occasions.
Ishwar was presented in a full length recital in Aradhana 2018 as part of the Graduation exercises, at the Gas Station Theatre by the India School. Under the direction of Guru Amjad Sabir, he was one of the three graduates that displayed dexterity, technique and training in a Tabla Certification Performance, an evaluative component as a requisite for graduation.

For the last three years, Ishwar has been the Music Teacher for Beginners and Intermediate students, before handing over the aspiring musicians to be mentored by the Guru.
