Shalini Narayan

Shalini Narayan, with a rich background in Carnatic music, has been nurtured from a young age under the expert tutelage of Dr. M. Subalakshmi Muthuswamy, the esteemed President of Nandi Fine Arts Chennai. A regular presence in seasonal concerts and temple festivals, Shalini Narayan has also graced the stage as a performing artist on renowned TV channels such as Sun TV. Her achievements extend to triumphs in reality shows and numerous prize victories. In the realm of dance, her journey commenced under the guidance of Smt. Radhika Rajasenan. A significant milestone was reached with her Arangetram performance at the illustrious Music Academy hall, graced by the presence of K. J Sarasa and Smt. Srikala Bharath as guests of honour. Holding an 'A' grade distinction in Doordarshan, she has refined her dance under the mentorship of Srimathi Shobana Balachandra since 2012, collaborating on various dance dramas and persistently pursuing growth. Shalini Narayan's performances have resonated at esteemed venues like Madras Music Academy and Shanmukhananda Hall Bombay. Presently, her learning journey in Nattuvangam continues under the dedicated guidance of Guru Shobana Balachandra.
